A clear way into your community.

Foyer connects verified NFT and token ownership to Discord roles. Here’s what happens on each side of the door.

Set up a server

Connect Discord with an account that has Manage Server and Manage Roles.
Invite Foyer. In Discord’s role settings, move its role above the holder roles it should manage.
Create a role rule. Choose an existing role or create one, then add your NFT or token requirements.
Share the verification link from your overview. You can also use /foyer setup in a Discord text channel to preview and publish a verification panel. Publishing again refreshes the panel Foyer already manages in that channel.

Network switches save immediately. Community text and rule edits have their own Save button. Pausing a rule leaves existing roles in place.

Get your roles

Use the verification button in your Discord server, or run /verify. Connect Discord, choose a wallet, and sign the readable ownership message. You can link up to ten wallets. An EVM signature covers all supported EVM networks.

Your role is marked as added only after Discord confirms delivery. Automatic checks keep reviewing your holdings; they run periodically, so sales and transfers are not reflected instantly.

Networks and assets

Supported EVM networks share one wallet connection. Role rules can check ERC-20 token balances, ERC-721 collection counts, or a specific ERC-1155 token ID. OpenSea collection links resolve to their chain and contract. Traits can narrow NFT requirements. Shared-contract collection subsets, staked holdings and native EVM coin balances are not supported yet.

Connect a Solana wallet separately with a signed message. NFT rules count verified collection members, including standard, programmable, Core and compressed NFTs. Token rules support SPL and Token-2022 mints with ordinary public balances. Confidential, interest-bearing and scaled-balance tokens are not supported yet.

Link a Bitcoin address with UniSat or Xverse for Ordinals collection, Rune token, and native BTC balance roles. Each payment or Ordinals address needs its own signature. Holdings count after confirmation and indexing; pending transfers keep existing roles unchanged. Ordinals collections use UniSat collection IDs, and Runes use their permanent block:transaction IDs. Bitcoin traits and Bitcoin sales feeds are not available yet.

On mobile, open your server’s verification link inside your Solana wallet’s browser. WalletConnect is currently available for EVM wallets. If ownership data is unavailable or too old, Foyer keeps your existing roles until a complete check succeeds.

When something needs attention

I qualified, but the role is still pending.

Foyer retries Discord updates automatically. If the delay persists, ask a server admin to check that Foyer has Manage Roles and sits above the holder role. You can safely close the verification page while delivery is pending.

Ownership could not be confirmed.

A network or provider may be unavailable, or the rule may use an incorrect contract, NFT standard or token precision. Existing roles stay in place during an incomplete check. Try again shortly; admins can review the rule and activity.

My wallet is not listed.

Use the wallet’s browser extension or open the verification link in its mobile browser. Foyer supports signed messages from EVM accounts, Solana wallets, and UniSat or Xverse Bitcoin wallets. Contract wallets require an additional proof method and are not enabled yet.

The collection or token is wrong.

Check the chain as well as the address. A trading-pool address is different from the token contract. ERC-721 rules count NFTs across a collection contract; ERC-1155 rules need a token ID. Token decimals must match the contract.

Discord says my session expired.

Connect Discord again. Your saved rules and linked wallets remain attached to the same Discord account.

What information is stored?

Foyer stores your Discord identity, signed wallet links, server connections, verification results and role activity. Admins see shortened wallet addresses. Activity history is retained; account settings explain your data controls.

A signature should be all it takes.

Never share a seed phrase or approve a transfer to verify with Foyer. Verification does not move your assets.
